1. Bab-e-Pakistan/ Lahore
Situated in Lahore this monument was created in the early years of the creation of Pakistan under ZiaulHaq however it was never completed due to political clashes. This monument further marks the migration and sacrifices of several India families to the newly born state 'PAKISTAN' in 1947.
2. Pakistan Monument/ Islamabad
This attractive monument situated in Islamabad (capital of Pakistan) symbolizes the 4 provinces of Pakistan. The monument itself is a celebration at night when seen by tourists. It's walls are covered with beautiful carvings of Islamic culture. The architecture was officially completed between 2004-2007.
3. Mazar-e-Quaid/ Karachi
Situated in Karachi, the tomb was created in the memory of the founder of Pakistan 'Muhmmad Ali Jinnah'. The monument covers a total area of 3,100 meter square. Every year, prominent political leaders of Pakistan pay tribute, to not only M.Ali Jinnah but all the other leaders including Liaqat Ali Khan and Fatima Jinnah, buried here.
4. Khyber Pass
Connecting Pakistan to Afghanistan, Khyber pass is one of the oldest known pass in the world! It also marks the battle of Nader Shah, Persian ruler, with Mughals of the subcontinent. It makes it's route dissecting the mountains of Spin Ghar.
5. Mohenjo-Daro/ Sindh
Built around 2500 BC, remains of this valley were discovered in the province Sindh/ Pakistan. This valley was a residential area for Indus Valley Civilization and was abandoned in the 19th century as the civilization declined. The valley was constructed from red bricks and covers an area of around 300 hectares. Artifacts like 'The dancing girl' 'Priest King' and 'Seven stranded necklace' have been excavated from the remains of the valley.
