All about the mega/grand CEPEC!

CPEC is a project (under construction) and it’s major aim is to boost the economy of both the neighboring countries, Pakistan and China.
The corridor is more than 3000 Km connecting China’s province Xinjiang to rest of the world through Gawadar.

The corridor consists of many modes of transports including pipelines for the transport of power resources.

Why choose Gawadar?
Gawadar enjoys a strategic and a key position on the world map and in the subcontinent as it has the world’s largest deep sea/ warm water port that is useable all around the year.
It is not surprising that countries in the subcontinent would have their eyes on Gawadar thus, China opted to promote the port, making use of it’s long term friendship with Pakistan after it’s terms deteriorated with India!

How bright is the future of Baluchistan under CPEC?
The province Baluchistan is rich in mineral and power resources however due to it’s poor infrastructure development over the years the resources remain untapped.
Promised under CPEC, the corridor will create more than 40,000 jobs for both skilled and unskilled labors in majorly Pakistan and China.
The recent researches reveal China to spend more than 45+ billion dollars on different trade routes crossing through Pakistan.

How bright is the future of the province Xinjiang under CPEC?
Just like Baluchistan’s (Pakistan) development, it is said that over 90% of the situation of Xinjiang (China) will be improved under CPEC, causing it to change from a rural area to an urbanized province!
