Land of the Fairies



Located in the Manshera District, Kaghan Valley is among the jewels of Pakistan and is one of the most active tourist sites. Extending 160 km its highest point is the historic Babusar Pass.
The alluring valley is named after the town of Kaghan and the extensive river Kunhar crossing it. 
The valley is known for its green and woolly summers and extreme snowy and calm winters therefore being the most visited valley by both local and foreign tourists. 

The valley has approximately 109 top-class hotels which can accommodate many tourists who enjoy hiking and natural wonders. Including the green pine forests, alpine meadows and steep mountains the majestic rivers have attracted many from around the world.

One of the most developed towns in this valley is Balakot with proper developed markets and hotels. Many cottage-craft and small-scale industries in this town assure the availability of beautiful souvenirs including dry fruits which are carried back by the tourists to their countries and cities.

Many visitors and tourists however like camping on the mounts of this valley enjoying the natural environment, the pleasing greenery and the appealing snow fall. 

 Visitors and Tourists must dress warm and cozy in both summers and winters to stay safe from the cold and dry prevailing winds in the valley.
